Libraries

ISB Libraries

ISB has three physical libraries – the Early Years (EY) Library, the Elementary (ES) Library, and the Secondary (SS) Library. These libraries have extensive print collections that are developmentally appropriate for the students they serve. In addition to our physical libraries, ISB also has a fully digital library. Students can access this 24 hours a day via Epic Plus. We aim to inspire students to love stories in any format, spark their imagination, and empower them to learn anything they choose.

Book Week Celebration

Every year, we celebrate Book Week at ISB with a variety of engaging activities. These include DEAR (Drop Everything And Read), an Author Visit, the Morning Calm Medal vote, Book Theme Trivia, and a Book Character Parade! Students and teachers alike participate, dressing up as their favorite characters and embracing the spirit of the event. During our special assembly, awards are presented to our most active borrowers and for the most creative book character dress-up. We hope these fun experiences continue to foster a love of reading in our students. #WorldBookDay

Digital Resources

Our libraries offer extensive resources to help teachers inspire students in their subject areas and to support the various curricula used at ISB.

Beyond our physical and digital collections, we also provide students and staff with access to a wide range of premium digital resources. Currently, students can access Britannica School, EBSCO, and JStor. These powerful resources are tailored to meet the needs of all our learners, from our youngest students all the way through to our DP students.
